I was referenced to Mr. Wilde for excellent tax service by a neighbor of his. Upon filing my 2016 tax returns through him on the 17th of March, I was informed that he only needed my son's social security number in order to complete the filing which I was able to give him two days later. After being reassured by him that everything had been submitted I began to wait for my return. Approximately late April I began to be concerned as to why I had not received anything from state let alone federal. I tried to call Mr. Wilde and sent him a text message saying that I had not received anything and just wanted to make sure there were no issues. He again reassured me that everything had been sent off and it was telling him that my return was still processing. So I began to wait even longer. About two weeks later I sent him multiple calls and text messages letting him know that I had still not received anything and even when going online or calling the IRS I was being informed that they had no information regarding my return. Mysteriously my calls and messages to him went unanswered and not returned. About another two weeks later I finally decided to make an appointment at my local IRS office where I went over my issue with them. They informed me that they had checked on my return and found out that it had only been recently submitted as of May 22nd and that the only other action that was taken beforehand was a request for extension by Mr. Wilde as of April 18th, a month after he had supposedly "filed" my return. Even now I have had no returned calls or messages from him in regards to why it took him over two months to even file my return and why he lied to me when he said he had filed it back in March.
